چکیده

Abstract Background Streptococcus anginosus ( S. ) was reported increased in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tissue. The aim of this study to investigate the response cancer cells biological characteristics evoked by and its potential mechanisms. Methods growth curve concentration standard were determined, a series concentrations supernatant applied OSCC lines SCC15, then selected an optimal time CCK-8 assay. Then autophagic response, proliferative activity, cycle apoptosis, invasion migration abilities evaluated SCC15. Results results showed that when ratio culture medium 1:1 co-culture 16 h, inhibitory effect on SCC15 most obvious; Furthermore, upregulated autophagy activity thus significantly inhibiting proliferation, ability. Compared with control groups, G1 arrest, S G2/M phases decreased, percentage apoptotic relatively P < 0.05). Conclusion reduced promoted apoptosis; Moreover, may be one mechanisms process.

Tongue Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Clinical Study

Background and Objectives: Squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue (SCCOT) is the most common malignant neoplasm in oral cavity. At the time of the diagnosis of SCCOT regional metastases with a high mortality rate are common, which is due to the extensive lymphatic system drainage of the tongue. Although the level of healthcare has significantly improved, the survival rate is still low with an...

Coexistence of Granular Cell Tumor with Squamous Cell Carcinoma on the Tongue: A Case Report

Introduction: Granular cell tumors (GCTs) are rare and mostly benign soft tissue tumors. Though they have been reported in all parts of body, they are generally located in the head and neck region, especially on the tongue. Some malign forms exist, but these have been rarely reported. Granular cell tumors have a neural origin and, in immunohistochemical evaluations, they express S-100 and neuro...

The Prevalence of Human Papilloma Virus in Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Oral Tongue

Background and objective:  Oral tongue Squamous Cell carcinoma (SCC) commonly involves males between the sixth to eighth decades of life. Major risk factors are tobacco usage and alcohol consumption. The increasing number of patients developing oral tongue cancer without these well-known risk factors suggests that a viral infection, such as Human Papil...

Effect of HIF-1α on biological activation of human tongue squamous cell carcinoma SCC-15 cells in vitro

Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) is a key regulator for tumor cells and tissues to adapt to hypoxic condition. Suppressing the expression of HIF-1α is important to evaluate its effect on cancer cells. This study was carried out to analyze the effect of HIF-1α on the biological activation of human tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) SCC-15 cells. In this experiment, deferoxamine mesylate (...
